Rissi Palmer takes the PLAYlist Stage at Durham Central Park Friday July 7th at 7:30pm. Following her PLAYlist performance, on July 18 at Rofhiwa Book Cafe, Rissi will share the secrets of her songwriting and storytelling with young black girls ages 12-16. The workshop is free to attend, but space is limited so please sign up to reserve your space.

Workshop participants will receive a songwriting kit (notebook and writing utensils) along with a PLAYlist t-shirt.

Workshop includes: Acoustic Duo performance Q&A one on one work sessions in a classroom setting (at least 8 minutes of one on one) song critique (for songwriting) This workshop is limited to 25 participants so sign up to reserve your space!

Soundtracks are Durham Central Park's supplemental arts programming presented alongside our monthly concert series, PLAYlist. Both the concerts and all Soundtracks programs are free to attend and meant to bring community together to experience art, joy, making, dance, love, and togetherness.
